Local Food: The Corner Cafe, Independence

Had some great food at The Corner Cafe. It's a local place with three locations. We didn't go to the original locale, but the food was good and the service was awesome.
Lucy was a bit of a pill, but she gets that way we we spend more than a few hours away from home. Like father like daughter, I suppose. :)

I will say it didn't feel like your local diner. It is big. But the staff was very nice and the food was really good. We might go back, if we are in Independence at meal time. I don't know, though. It felt like a nicer Denny's. Which isn't a bad thing, just what it is.  I Love when a diner is full of old people and families and this place had both. I give it two thumbs up and a wink from Carys.
